Rip Curl has just launched Project Resurrection, a plan they’re calling “wetsuit amnesty” in which they’ll recycle your old wetsuit into these cute, very comfy looking sandals.
Hey, summertime! In fact, if you rummage around in your garage and bring your old wetsuit into the Newquay (UK) store in April, they’ll actually give you a pair of these sandals for free. Although we wish they would have this amazing upcycle promotion in every retail location…it’s still a pretty neat idea. We love this philanthropically-inclined tried-and-true surf brand…and we love that they’re going eco. Nothing like well-made clothes for badass surfer babes. Cowabunga.
